Why would they include you in a daily text presumably about stupid day-to-day stuff? If it bothers you that much you could, oh I don’t know, ask him to add you. His friends just met you and they live in a different country. I know you were asking about friends and group texts but honestly, I couldn’t get past this part of it. I mean, I work in technology and have made friends via various apps and sites, but getting engaged to someone I’ve met in person four times (possibly more if the fiancé has come to visit you) seems kind of crazy to me. I’m probably just being old, but this description seems like a very small amount of face-to-face exposure with someone you are engaged to. There does not appear to be any rhyme or reason, and I’m sure I’ve initiated plenty of messages where someone’s significant other was left off. Sometimes my hubby is on them, sometimes he isn’t. I don’t have an ongoing group text/e-mail, but my friends do send a lot of group messages when things are happening. Don’t even mention the group texts because the in-person communication is far more important. Admittedly, I wasnt much of a fan of Hot Pockets. For instance, Hot Pockets sells microwaveable pocket sandwiches. In fact, in some cases, its better if you dont.

Consider how you can delight your customers while staying true to your brand. Galvin also noted the need to monitor lobbying work at all levels of government, including the local level, citing the recent battle over Airbnb regulations in City Hall that likely included heavy lobbying money. Tell your fiancé that you’d like to spend more time with his friends when you’re in the same place. To make it meaningful, you have to do this kind of stuff. Perhaps it’s been difficult for him to plan your time together because it’s so precious. I think you not feeling included in the group chat is more of a sign that you don’t feel included in his life in general. Maybe your fiancé was keeping you to himself. The group chat/text message is probably the least of your concerns. it’s possible that people were traveling during your visits. It would have been nice for you to get to know his community before making a big commitment. The only thing that does sound uncomfortable is that you didn’t meet his friends until the engagement party. Give it time and wait to evaluate your relationship with these people until you’re living in the same place. Please remember that because of distance, there haven’t been many reasons to throw you on a text about someone’s daily routine. Group texts are not a window into anyone’s soul.

Someone answered that question and then the conversation evolved (or devolved) into inside jokes, gifs, someone asking how to pronounce “gif,” etc.

Most of the best exchanges started because one person had a practical question - like what time a movie started. I just scrolled through all of the group texts in my phone.
